One of the most prestigious films from Indian cinema this year, Ramayana, has officially announced its release date. There has been discussion on a couple of dates in industry circles, but the official release date is November 5th, as announced by the makers.
This highly anticipated project, based on the ancient Indian epic, features the collaboration of director Nitesh Tiwari with Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi, and Yash playing the antagonist. The film’s trailer was released in July to massive audience response.
Worldwide Release Strategy
The film is set for release around Diwali, one of the biggest festive windows in Indian cinema. Initially, the makers had planned for staggered release dates across different global regions to accommodate varying market strategies.
However, plans have shifted, and it has now been finalized that Ramayana will have a worldwide simultaneous release on November 5. There are also strong reports that the film will have paid premieres on the evening of November 4, allowing eager fans to catch the first shows.
Ticket Booking Details
Apart from announcing the official release date, the makers of Ramayana have also confirmed that ticket bookings will open on the day of Dasara (Dussehra) itself. This early booking window will give fans an opportunity to secure their seats well in advance for this grand mythological spectacle.
The simultaneous worldwide release marks a shift from the earlier plan of region-wise releases, ensuring that audiences across the globe can experience the epic on the same day.
